Alongside working on a live consulting project, our Consultants are provided with training and mentoring by professionals from top global firms as part of our Consultant and Engagement Manager programs. These programs are designed to help you maximise your client impact and develop the skills required for a successful career in consulting. These programs differ for Consultants and Engagement Managers and consist of 3 parts -

Each of our project teams consist of 1 Engagement Manager and 4 or 5 Consultants. Please see the eligibility requirements below for our positions:

CONSULTANT

Role Description:

Consultants are responsible for undertaking the core analysis and research aspects of the project. They collaborate with their project team to identify key insights and present recommendations to their client

Minimum Requirements:

- Current University student (Undergraduate, Masters, MBA or PhD) or young professional with less than 2 years of work experience

- Able to commit to 4-5 hours a week of work and a weekly team meeting

ENGAGEMENT MANAGER

Role Description:

Engagement Managers are responsible for driving the overall direction of the project and lead client interactions. Engagement Managers plan and organise team and client meetings

Minimum Requirements:

- Prior consulting experience or over 2 years of professional work experience

- Able to commit to 4-5 hours a week of work and a weekly team meeting

 

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

 

DURING THE INTERNATIONAL CONSULTING PROJECT, HOW DO TEAM AND CLIENT MEETINGS TAKE PLACE?

All aspects of our projects are conducted remotely. In addition, other components of the program including the pre-project bootcamp will also be conducted remotely via Zoom.

WHEN DO I NEED TO COMPLETE THE 4-5 HOURS A WEEK OF WORK DURING THE PROJECT?

At any time! During your weekly team meetings, your team will set tasks for the week ahead. You’re able to complete these tasks in your own personal time.

HOW AM I ALLOCATED TO AN INTERNATIONAL CONSULTING PROJECT?

Following a CV review, if you are successful you will be invited to an interview. During the interview, you will be asked about your consulting areas of interest and your background. Based on these factors, we will allocate you to an international consulting project. Allocations are final and cannot be changed.

WHAT TECHNOLOGY DO I NEED FOR THE PROGRAM?

Most video calls are conducted over Zoom, however each team has discretion over what technology it uses for team meetings. In order to collaborate and share data and files effectively and efficiently, we also recommend our teams to use Slack.
